The Bathinda District Cricket Association (B.D.C.A.) is the governing body for the development and organization of the game of cricket in the District of Bathinda. The B.D.C.A. has a long history. The B.D.C.A. functions from present day at COPS Club, Bathinda. In the year 1982, The Bathinda District Cricket Association was formed, with the main motto to improve Cricket at all levels and to increase the love for the game.
After winning the Cricket World Cup in 1983 by the team India, the cricket was getting popular in the district which was a booster for B.D.C.A. This increased the popularity of the cricket in mostly all parts of India, along with the district Bathinda.
